specialities
Hi there, I’m Faith! I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and the experiences that shape who we become. This curiosity, along with my passion for helping others, is what led me to counselling. I believe life can be challenging, and that we are not meant to navigate these complex experiences alone. My mission is to provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you’re free to share your experiences, explore your emotions, feel empowered by your strengths, and create meaningful change!
Through my experience working in healthcare, educational, and community-based settings, I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals from various backgrounds and circumstances. This diversity has enhanced my ability to embrace challenges with openness, patience, and compassion.
I hold a person-centred approach to therapy, recognizing that each individual brings with them their own beliefs, perspectives, and understandings of the world. My experience working with youth, adults, and seniors has grounded by belief that there is no one-size-fits-all model; your experiences are unique- so should be healing. I acknowledge the courage it takes to reach out, and I feel privileged to join you on your journey towards growth, confidence, and a life that feels more like you!
Outside of counselling, you can find me taking my rescue dog, Fritz, for walks by the lake or heading up to my cottage to slow down and recharge. I love to cook, play a game of Yahtzee, and will never turn down a good cup of coffee!
